John Cairns. First Player Level. This book includes an in-depth discussion of setting up and maintaining a bagpipe and its reeds, as well as on the proper tuning of the pipe. Although it is not primarily a tune book, there are a few new finger exercises and two new tunes.
An accompanying CD is also included with the book.

His new series is designed as a course of study to take the student from the basics of piping all the way to a professional level.
