St. Fiacre developed a special skill for gardening while being raised in a monastery in Ireland. Soon after he was ordained, Fiacre moved to France where Bishop Faro granted him a large lot of land to garden. He grew a beautiful variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
